International Branch Distinguished Scientist Award
This award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to entomological science during their career. The awardee will receive a certificate, and will be recognized during the International Branch Business Meeting which is held during the Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of America.
Dr. Gene Kritsky, a 41-year member of the Entomological Society of America, received his B.A. in Biology (1974) from Indiana University and his M.S. (1976) and Ph.D. (1977) in Entomology from the University of Illinois. He joined the Biology Department at Tri-State University (now Trine University) in 1977 and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Minya University in Egypt from 1981 to 1982.
