Early Career Professional Recognition Award

The Plant-Insect Ecosystems (P-IE) Section of the Entomological Society of America (ESA) seeks to recognize outstanding early career professional members as part of an initiative to foster the next generation of entomologists. The section plans to grant 1 recognition award of $1000 to an early career professional who has made an exceptional impact in research, education, and/or outreach/extension in the field of P-IE.

MUVE Travel Award for New Attendees

This award encourages MUVE student members to attend the annual meeting to promote interest in entomology and help connect new attendees to current members.

SysEB Patch Memorial Research Award

This award recognizes outstanding research by individuals who have recently completed a master's thesis in arthropod morphology, systematics, taxonomy, or evolution.

MUVE Student Recognition Awards

The MUVE Student Recognition Awards recognize MUVE student members who have demonstrated excellence in the Medical, Urban and Veterinary Entomology.

SysEB Snodgrass Memorial Research Award

This award recognizes outstanding research by individuals who have recently completed a doctoral dissertation in arthropod morphology, systematics, taxonomy, or evolution.

Plant-Insect Ecosystems (P-IE) Lifetime Achievement Award in Entomology

The P-IE Lifetime Achievement in Entomology Award, formerly known as P-IE Legends of Entomology Award, recognizes the career of an entomologist who has greatly contributed to the advancement or promotion of entomology, and has been an inspiration to others. The award, consisting of an inscribed plaque, is presented at the Monday afternoon P-IE Networking Session during the ESA Annual Meeting. Recipients are expected to attend the session to receive the award.
