Sunday, November 9: Portland Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt  
1 – 4 PM │ Cost: $65 per person (15 person minimum, limited to the first 100 participants) 

This engaging scavenger hunt is designed to capture the unique essence of Portland while being entirely walkable from downtown. Teams will navigate the city using clues, completing challenges at key locations that highlight Portland’s quirky, creative, and delicious culture. Each challenge completed earns points. Bonus points awarded for creativity, speed, and team spirit. The team with the most points at the end wins a prize! 

Participants will explore the city in teams of 3-4.  

Includes: Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.  

Sunday, November 9: Banks-Vernonia Pedal & Pour Excursion 
9 AM – 3 PM │ Cost: $185 per person (lunch included) (maximum 20 participants) 

This tour offers an active morning with a guided bike ride along a scenic portion of the Banks-Vernonia State Trail, followed by a relaxing winery lunch featuring wine pairings. It's a perfect blend of outdoor recreation and culinary enjoyment. 

Begin at a designated trailhead along the Banks-Vernonia State Trail (e.g., near Buxton Trailhead). Guided bike ride along a scenic section of the trail, with stops at key viewpoints (such as the Buxton Trestle). Transportation to a local boutique winery for lunch. 

Activities: 
Guided bike ride on the Banks-Vernonia State Trail. 
Scenic stops and photo opportunities. 
Winery lunch with wine pairings. 

Participants should be comfortable with moderate bike riding. First Nature will provide options for different bike sizes, and will need to collect height and weight information from participants.

Monday, November 10: Discover Portland’s Urban Wilderness: Forest Park to Pittock Mansion  
1-5 PM │ Cost: $110 per person (minimum 14 participants, maximum 28 participants)  

This guided hike offers a quintessential Portland experience, weaving through the lush greenery of Forest Park along the scenic Wildwood Trail. The journey begins at the Lower MacLeay Trailhead, leading to the charming Witch’s Hut, a local favorite nestled in the woods, approximately one mile in. From there, the hike continues south with a steady 450-foot elevation gain over 2.5 miles to Pittock Mansion, where sweeping views of the Portland skyline and surrounding mountains await. The total hiking distance is about 3.5 miles and typically takes 2.5 hours, depending on group pace and stops for photos. 

Along the way, guests will have opportunities to take in the natural beauty, capture stunning photos, and enjoy a well-paced outdoor adventure. The trail winds through a temperate rainforest ecosystem teeming with life, including an impressive array of insects and other invertebrates for those inclined to notice. Forest Park is home to native pollinators like bumble bees and hoverflies, leaf litter dwellers such as ground beetles and springtails, and the occasional sighting of dragonflies near creek crossings. With so much biodiversity packed into this urban wilderness, curious eyes will have no shortage of tiny wonders to observe. 

This tour is designed for those looking to explore Portland’s rich natural environment while enjoying a seamless and expertly guided experience.

Tuesday, November 11: Tualatin Valley Farm-to-Table & Vino Indulgences 
10:30 AM – 4:30 PM │ Cost: $245 per person (lunch included) maximum 20 participants  

This tour combines the best of the Tualatin Valley's wine and culinary scene, focusing on Tualatin Valley wines and farm-fresh cuisine. Participants will enjoy tastings at renowned local wineries and a delicious meal featuring seasonal ingredients. 

Washington County Area Wineries: 

David Hill Winery (Forest Grove, OR): Known for its historic charm and excellent wines, including a crisp rosé. Participants will enjoy a tasting in their beautiful tasting room. 

Alloro (Sherwood, OR): Tuscany-inspired winery with a focus on terroir-driven wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Muscat. They also produce sparkling wines and a Bianco di Nero (white wine made from Pinot Noir) 

Ponzi Vineyards (Beaverton, OR): A pioneering winery in the region, known for its high-quality Pinot Noir and rosé. Participants will experience a tasting of their rosé and other select wines 

Other possible wineries are Oak Knoll or Kramer Vineyards. 

Includes: Transportation, all tasting fees, A farm-to-table winery lunch featuring seasonal ingredients and Tualatin Valley wine pairings, canned water.   

You may purchase additional wines to bring home.  

Tuesday, November 11: Portland After Dark: Nighttime Adventure + Foodie Tour
6-10 PM │ Cost: $125 per person (dinner included) (minimum number of participants: 4) 

Experience Portland’s nightlife! Visit Voodoo Doughnuts (or the group's choice), enjoy craft brews in the Pearl District, explore retro gaming at a legendary arcade, and savor dinner at Portland’s famous food carts. End the night with breathtaking views from the Eastbank Esplanade. Note: food and beverage (outside of the van) is not included on this tour. 

Includes: Voodoo Doughnuts (or the group's choice), Craft brews in the Pearl District, Retro gaming at a legendary arcade bar, Dinner at a famous Portland food cart pod, Views from the Eastbank Esplanade, Dedicated guide, and luxury transportation with snacks.  
 

Wednesday, November 12: Willamette Valley: Insiders Tasting Experience

Wednesday, November 12: Columbia River Gorge Landscapes and Ecology Tour  
9 AM – 6 PM │ Cost: $165 per person (20 person maximum) 

Embark on a breathtaking journey through the Columbia River Gorge, where dramatic landscapes and rich ecological diversity await. The tour begins with a scenic drive along the historic Columbia Gorge Highway, punctuated by stops at iconic viewpoints like Chanticleer Point, Vista House, and the majestic Multnomah Falls. Discover the fascinating world of giant sturgeon at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery before indulging in a delightful lunch and exploration of downtown Hood River. Ascend to the panoramic vistas of Rowena Crest, where sweeping views of the Gorge unfold. Conclude your adventure with a visit to the Gorge Discovery Center in The Dalles, delving into the natural and cultural history of the region, before returning to Portland.

Thursday, November 13: Mt. Hood Loop Geology and Wine Tour
